After Debate upon the Earl of Torrington's being committed for Misdemeanor in Time of Privilege of Parliament:
It is ORDERED, That the Debate of this Business shall be, and is hereby, adjourned to Saturday next; at which Time all the Judges are to be present.
Foster & al. versus Bernard, Munt, & al.
It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Cause wherein Anthony Forster and others are Plaintiffs, and John Bernard Administrator to Humphrey Munt, who was surviving Executor to John Markland, and the Children of the said Humphrey Munt, shall be heard, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Twentieth Day of this Instant October, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Court of Chancery, Power, Expences and Delays to limit.
Lords Committees appointed to receive and peruse the Bills appointed to be drawn by the Judges, for regulating the Court of Chancery, and the other Courts in Westm. Hall of Common Law, and to report to the House.
Their Lordships, or any Three of them; to meet on Tuesday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
Judges to draw a Bill to reform Abuses in Chancery, &c.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Judges do bring to the Committee, on Friday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock, the Bill by them to be drawn for regulating the Chancery; and also that they prepare and bring to the said Committee, on Tuesday the Twenty-eighth Instant, a Bill by them drawn, for regulating some Abuses in the Courts of Common Law in Westm. Hall.
