Wynn's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to vest the Estate of Cadwallader Wynn Esquire in Trustees, for the Payment of his Debts."

Tonnage and Poundage, &c. Bill:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for granting to Their Majesties a Subsidy of Tonnage and Poundage, and other Sums of Money, upon Merchandize exported and imported."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass into a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have passed it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Coke and Sir John Franklyn:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have passed the Bill for granting to Their Majesties a Subsidy of Tonnage and Poundage.

Message from thence, to return Sir H. Forester's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Edmond Jennings and others:

Who returned the Bill sent down, to enable Sir Humphrey Forrester to dispose of Lands; to which the Commons have agreed, without any Amendments.

Mrs. Hoby's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the granting unto Elizabeth Hoby Widow, one Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of Four Hundred and Fifty Pounds for her Use, in Satisfaction of Five Hundred Pounds a Year in Lands, which she was to have for her Jointure."

Law Practice of, Bill for regulating.

The House was put into a Committee, to consider further the Bill of Law.

The House being resumed;

The Lord Cornwallis reported, "That the Committee of the House have proceeded in the Bill concerning the Law; but desire that the Committee may be appointed to sit again on Friday next, for the further Progress therein."

Which the House ordered accordingly.

Forster versus Bernard.

Upon the Petition of Anthony Forster, and Elizabeth and other the Children of John Markland, deceased; praying, a Day may be appointed for hearing their Appeal, whereunto John Bernard, Administrator to Humphrey Munt deceased, and others are Defendants:

It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Seventh Day of May next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the Petitioners are to cause timely Notice to be given to the Defendants, to the End they attend with their Counsel accordingly.

Dod, &c. versus Burrows.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Anne Dod Widow, Magdalen Johnson Widow, Robert Colebach, Anne his Wife, Sarah Dod, Robert Cooper, Pricilla his Wife, Frances Dod, Charlton Hill, John Hill, and Rowland Hill, complaining of a Decree made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal, the Fourth Day of December, 1689, on the Behalf of Thomas Burrowes; as also upon the Answer of the said Thomas Burrowes put in thereunto:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Side thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Decree made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal, on the Behalf of the said Thomas Burrowes, from which the said Anne Dod Widow, Magdalen Johnson Widow, Robert Colebach, Anne his Wife, Sarah Dod, Robert Cooper, Pricilla his Wife, Frances Dod, Charlton Hill, John Hill, and Rowland Hill, appealed to this House, be, and is hereby, reversed; and that the Possession be restored, and the Profits be accounted for.

Adjourn.
