These Lords following took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes:

Poor Laws, for rendering more effectual, Bill.
The Earl of Mulgrave reported, "That the Committee for the Bill for the better explaining and making effectual the Statutes made for the Relief of the Poor, have made some Amendments therein, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."
Which Amendments were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with these Amendments.
Sea Coals, to regulate the Price of.
Lords Committees appointed to inspect the Reasons of the extraordinary Prices of Sea Coals in and about the Cities of London and Westminster, and what is fit to be done to prevent such extraordinary Rates and Prices for the future; whose Lordships have hereby Power to send for and examine such Persons concerning the same as they shall think fit, and afterwards to report to the House.
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet Tomorrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn as they please.

The House was called; and these Lords were absent:
Wainwright versus Wiseman.
Upon reading the Petition of James Wainwright; shewing, "That he had a Petition depending in this House, to which Anne Wiseman hath put in her Answer; and praying, that John Darling Esquire may be assigned to be of Counsel for him, and be admitted in Forma Pauperis, and a Day of Hearing appointed:"
It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, on Friday the 11th Day of April next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that John Darnell Esquire is hereby assigned of his Counsel, and he admitted in Forma Pauperis; whereof the Petitioner is to cause timely Notice to be given to the said Anne Wiseman, to the End she attend with her Counsel accordingly.
Pope versus De Casseris.
The House being this Day moved, "That a further Day may be appointed, for hearing the Cause wherein Charles Pope is Plaintiff, and Francisco De Cassers is Defendant; and that the Service of the Clerk in Chancery may be allowed a good Service; and that Robert Masters, of London, Merchant, may attend as a Witness at the Hearing:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the 9th of April next, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning; and that the said Robert Masters, of London, Merchant, do attend as Witness at the Hearing aforesaid; and that the Service of this Order upon his Clerk in Chancery shall be a sufficient Service, to the End the Defendant Francisco De Casser is to attend with his Counsel accordingly.
Sir Adam Blair's Petition, to be bailed.
Upon reading the Petition of Sir Adam Blair, Prisoner in The Gatehouse; praying, he may be at Liberty, giving sufficient Bail to attend this House:
It is ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Petition be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges; who are to consider thereof, and make Report to the House on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Gore versus Rolt.
After hearing Counsel at the Bar, on Saturday last, upon the Petition and Appeal of Sir John Gore Knight, complaining of an Award made by Thomas Christye Esquire, and the Confirmation of that Award by the Court of Chancery the 16th Day of December last, on the Behalf of Sir Thomas Rolt Knight; as also upon the Answer of Sir Thomas Rolt put in thereunto:
After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Side thereupon, it is this Day ORDERED and Adjudged, upon the Question, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Sir John Gore Knight be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree made by the Court of Chancery for confirming Mr. Christie's Award be, and is hereby, affirmed.
