The House heard Counsel, concerning the Bill intituled, "An Act for the illegitimating of Four of the Children of Briliana Popham deceased, late Wife of Alexander Popham, of Borton, in the County of Gloucester Esquire."
After Consideration thereof;
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall be read the Second Time?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
Message from H. C. to impeach Sir Adam Blair, &c.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Colonel Birch and others:
Who brought up Articles of High Treason, and other high Crimes and Offences, against Sir Adam Blair, Captain Henry Vaughan, Captain Frederick Mole, John Elliott Doctor in Physic, and Rob't Gray Doctor in Physic.
Lords to search Precedents of Impeachments.
Upon this, the House appointed the Earl of Huntingdon, Earl of Bridgewater, Earl of Rochester, Earl of Fauconberg, the Lord Paget, Lord Cornwallis, to meet this Afternoon at Five of the Clock, and inspect the Journals, what hath been the Method and Proceedings upon Impeachments from the House of Commons; and make Report thereof To-morrow Morning.
Sir J. Mill versus Noy & al. Coheirs of L. Sandys.
Upon the Petition of Hester Noy Widow, and others, Sisters and Coheirs of the late Lord Sandys, Defendants, to the Appeal of Sir John Mill Baronet, depending in this House, and praying a Day of Hearing thereupon:
It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Appeal, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Roffey & al. versus Hill & al.
Whereas there is an Appeal depending in this House, wherein John Roffey and others Plaintiffs, and John Hill and others Defendants:
It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the said John Roffey and others Plaintiffs, are to cause timely Notice to be given to the said John Hill and others Defendants, to the End they attend accordingly.

ORDERED, That the Impeachment brought up this Day, against Sir Adam Blair, Captain Henry Vaughan, Captain Frederick Mole, John Elliott Doctor in Physic, and Robert Gray Doctor in Physic, shall be read Tomorrow Morning.
Bill to take away Marches of Wales Court.
ORDERED, That the Report from the Committee upon the Act for taking away the Court holden before the President and Council of the Marches of Wales shall be made on Friday Morning next, the First Business.
