Bill to nat. Prince George, and settle his Precedency.

The Lord Viscount Newport reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for the Naturalization of the most Noble Prince George of Denmarke; and are of Opinion, That it is fit to leave out the Clause concerning the adding of Two Bars to his Robes; to all the rest of the Bill, they do agree."

The House agreed to the Opinion of the Committee; and ordered the Bill to be engrossed.

Commissioners of the Great Seal, Bill.

The Lord Delamer reported, "That the Committee for considering the Bill for enabling Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal to execute the Office of Lord Chancellor or Lord Keeper, have made some Amendments in the said Bill; which are offered to the Consideration of the House."

Which were read.

And, after some Debate,

The Question was put, "Whether the Clause brought in by the Committee shall be made Part of the Bill?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

The House agreed to the Amendments; and ordered the Bill to be engrossed, with the Amendments.

Bill for uniting Protestants.

Next, the House entered into Consideration of the Report of the Amendments in the Bill for uniting Their Majesties Protestant Subjects.

And, upon Debate, the Question was put, "Whether the Word ["approved"] shall stand?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

The Question being put, "Whether to agree with the Committee, in leaving out the Clause about the Indifferency of the Posture at the Receiving the Sacrament?"

The Votes were equal.

Then, according to the ancient Rule in the like Case,

Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Bonham and his Wife; praying a longer Day for answering to the Petition and Appeal of Thomas Newcomb and Dorothy his Wife:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Bonham and Alice his Wife have hereby Time given them for answering to the said Petition, until Saturday the 13th of April Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
