D. of South'ton introduced.

The Duke of South'ton was introduced, in the usual Manner, between the Duke of Grafton and the Duke of Beaufort.

The Patent was read, dated the Tenth Day of September, 27th Year of King Charles the Second. And then he was brought to his Place.

Witnesses about the E. of Essex's Death.

William Trehern and Thomas Osborn were sworn at the Bar, in order to their being examined before the Lords Committees for the Discovery of the Death of the Earl of Essex.

L. Castlemain to be brought up in Custody.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal assembled at Westm. That his Highness the Prince of Orange be moved, from this House, to send for the Earl of Castlemaine out of Shropshire, and put him into safe Custody here; and further, that the Earl of Shrewsbury and the Lord Viscount Newport do attend his Highness the Prince of Orange herewith.

Prayers for the Prince of Orange to be drawn.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal assembled at Westm. That it be, and is hereby, recommended to the Lords the Bishops, to whom was referred the drawing the Prayers for a Day of Thanksgiving to ALMIGHTY GOD, for having made his Highness the Prince of Orange the glorious Instrument of the great Deliverance of this Kingdom from Popery and arbitrary Power, that they draw a particular Prayer for his Highness the Prince of Orange, inserted in that Form.
