This Day Richard Lord Willuby de Broke sat first in Parliament, coming in by Descent, as adjudged to have a Right to a Writ of Summons to Parliament; who took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.

His Writ bears Date the 25th Februarii, 8° Gul. Tertii.

Hort versus Hort.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Kingman Hort and Isaac Hort, from a Decree or Order of Dismission, made in the Court of Chancery, the Three and Twentieth Day of November last, on the Behalf of Thomas Hort and Thomas Knight; and praying, "that the said Dismission may be reversed and set aside:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Hort and Thomas Knight may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Thursday the Twelfth Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Sir R. Atkins versus Tooke.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Sir Robert Atkyns Knight of the Bath, from a Decree in Chancery, made in Trinity Terme, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-four, on the Behalf of Elizabeth Tooke and others Complainants, against the Petitioner Respondent; and praying, "that his Plea may be allowed, and the Decree reversed:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Elizabeth Tooke and others therein mentioned may have a Copy of the said Petition and Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, on Thursday the Fifth Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Association for Safety of the King's Person, and Defence of His Government:

Then the Order, for calling over the House, and signing the Association, was read.

Whereupon the House was called over; and the Lords following signed the same.

But, before signing thereof, a Paper was offered, on Behalf of the Archbishops and Bishops.

Which, being read, was agreed to be entered, as followeth; (videlicet,)
