A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Littleton and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for enabling such Persons as have Estates for Life in Annuities payable by several former Acts therein mentioned to purchase and obtain further or more certain Interests in such Annuities; and, in Default thereof, for admitting other Persons to purchase or obtain the same, for raising Monies for carrying on the War against France;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Salt Water to make fresh, Bill.

And to return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making Salt Water fresh;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Life Annuities, for purchasing, Bill.

Then, Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enabling such Persons as have Estates for Life in Annuities payable by several former Acts therein mentioned, to purchase and obtain further or more certain Interests in such Annuities; and, in Default thereof, for admitting other Persons to purchase or obtain the same, for raising Monies for carrying on the War against France."

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Christy and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Peter Gollop Gentleman to sell a Farm and certain Lands called Wantsty, and to vest the Inheritance thereof in Fee Simple in such Person or Persons who shall be Purchaser or Purchasers thereof from him, subject only to the Payment of the Sum of One Thousand Pounds Principal-money, with the Interest thereof due and to grow due, unto the Executory Estate of Robert Merefeild Gentleman, deceased;" to which they have agreed, with One Amendment, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Which, being read Three Times, was agreed to; and ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice thereof.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Dashwood and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better enabling the Executors and Trustees of Sir Thomas Hare Baronet, lately deceased, to raise Portions and Maintenances for his Younger Children;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Which, being read Three Times, were agreed to; and ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice thereof.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Samuel Bernardiston and others:

To return, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Trustees of William Gage Esquire to raise Money, by a Mortgage of Part of his Estate, for the Preservation of the Timber growing thereon;" to which they have agreed, without any Amendment.

Hutchinson, who was ordered to attend this House, discharged from an Arrest;

Upon reading the Petition of Samuel Hutchinson Gentleman; shewing, That he, by Order attending this House touching the Convex Lights, was arrested, at the Suit of Bridget Blackman Widow, by one Armstrong a Bailiff:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Samuel Hutchinson shall be, and he is hereby, discharged from the Arrest he now lies under; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Sheriffs of London and Midd'x, and all other Officers whom it may concern.

and Armstrong to be attached, for arresting him.

Upon Oath made, at the Bar, "That Samuel Hutchinson, who by Order attended this House, was arrested by William Armstrong Bailiff, at the Suit of Bridget Blackman:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, do forthwith attach the Body of the said William Armstrong, and bring him in safe Custody to the Bar of this House to answer for his Offence; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Roger Charnock Esquire, Serjeant at Arms attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.

Public Accompts, for appointing Commissioners to take, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for appointing and enabling Commissioners to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow, after the Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing and making perpetual several Laws therein mentioned."
