Duvall versus Terry:

After hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of John Duvall Esquire, and Elizabeth (commonly called Viscountess Purbeck) his Wife, against William Terry of London Merchant, from a Decree made the Six and Twentieth Day of June last past, in the Court of Chancery; as also from an Order made the Twelfth Day of February last, for dissolving an Injunction which the Appellants had obtained; as also upon the Answer of the said William Terry put in thereunto:

Judgement affirmed.

Upon due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of the said John Duvall and Elizabeth (commonly called Viscountess Purbeck) his Wife, shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree and Order from which they appealed shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.

Baston's Information.

Mr. Baston, being called in, this Day delivered his Information, upon Oath, in Writing.

Papers concerning Crosfield's Complaint referred to Commissioners for Accompts, who are to report their Observations.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Papers this Day delivered in from the Commissioners appointed to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of this Kingdom, in Pursuance of an Order of the Ninth Instant, as also all other Papers and Informations now before this House relating to Mr. Crosfeild's Complaint, mentioned in, or annexed to, his Petition, and which concern the Commissioners for the Sick and Wounded, be sent to the said Commissioners of Accompts, in order to their Proceeding in the further Examination of that Matter now before them; and, after such Examination perfected, they transmit the Informations, and report their Observations thereupon, to this House.

Foreign Seamen, to naturalize, Bill.

Whereas To-morrow, at Twelve of the Clock, is appointed for the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing of Foreign Seamen:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir George Rooke, Sir John Hubland, and Mr. Priestman, Commissioners of the Admiralty, do attend this House To-morrow, at Twelve of the Clock.

Precedence of Peers summoned by Writ into their Fathers Baronies, and their Descendants.

The House (pursuant to the Order of the Eighteenth Instant) took into Consideration the Precedence of such Peers as shall be summoned to this House, by Writ, into their Fathers Baronies, and of the Descendants of such Peers.

And, after Debate thereupon, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the further Consideration of this Matter shall be resumed on Wednesday the Third Day of April next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the Judges do then attend; and Mr. Attorney General be heard on His Majesty's Behalf.
