The House (pursuant to the Order for the Day) took into Consideration the Condition of the Fleet.
And, after some Time spent in the Debate thereof,
Committee to prepare an Address concerning it.
Lords Committees were appointed by the House, to prepare an Address, to be presented to His Majesty, upon the Subject-matter of the Debate this Day, and report to the House:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
Hall versus Cupper.
Upon reading the Petition of John Hall, Defendant in Two Writs of Error brought into this House by Mathias Cupper, the One and Twentieth Day of February last; praying a short Day may be appointed for hearing the Errors argued thereupon:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued, upon the said Writs of Error, on Thursday the Seventh Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Towne versus Thompson.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein John Towne is Appellant, and Anthony Thompson Respondent, on Friday the Eighth Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
