The manorial descents of Bulmer, Langbaurgh East and Pickering Lythe Wapentakes and Scarborough Borough have been compiled under the supervision of Miss H. L. E. Garbett; those of Langbaurgh West Wapentake and Whitby Strand Liberty under the supervision of Miss M. Curtis, Classical Tripos; and those of Birdforth Wapentake under the supervision of Miss H. L. E. Garbett and Miss M. Curtis jointly. Miss Garbett also gave considerable help in the supervision of the manorial descents in the first volume of the North Riding.
