The Commons being come to the Conference, as desired Yesterday, the Managers Names were read, and the House was adjourned during Pleasure.
The Lords went to the Conference.
Which being ended, the House was resumed.
Report of the Conference, concerning Intelligence of the Brest Fleet sailing.
And the Duke of Bolton reported, "That they had attended at the Conference, and delivered what was commanded by this House."

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable John Vivian Esquire, and Thomas Vivian his Son, to sell some Part of their Estate for Payment of Debts, and making Provision for Younger Children; and for settling other Part of their Estate in Lieu thereof."
Marshall versus Paxton.
Upon reading the Petition of Gilbert Marshall Esquire, Plaintiff; shewing, "That he hath brought his Writ of Error into this House, to reverse a Judgement obtained against him in the County Palatine of Durham; and that he hath assigned his Errors in due Form, and alledged Diminution, which is a Variance between the Record and the Declaration filed in the Court at Durham; and he being informed, that, by the Rules of this House, he is bound to cause a Writ of Certiorari to be returned within Ten Days after the Diminution alledged; and praying some further Time for returning such Writ:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Defendant Nicholas Paxton shall have a Copy of this Petition; and that he and the Plaintiff shall be heard, by One Counsel on either Side, upon the said Petition, on Thursday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
