PRAYERS.

Boswell versus Mascall.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of John Boswell, from a Decretal Order made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal, on the Behalf of John Mascall, the Three and Twentieth Day of February last, and other Orders in that Cause; and praying, "That the same may be set aside:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Mascall may have a Copy of the said Petition and Appeal; and shall be, and he is hereby, required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Saturday the Second Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Castell versus Stephens.

Upon reading the Petition of Richard Castell; shewing, "That he hath an Appeal depending in this House, against Francis Stephens; and that the said Francis Stephens was, by Order of this House, to answer thereunto the Seven and Twentieth Day of February last; and praying his Appeal may be revived, and that the said Francis Stephens may now answer thereunto:"

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Appeal shall be revived; and that the said Francis Stephens shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Monday the Seven and Twentieth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

State of Supplies for the Navy:

Then the Commissioners for stating the Public Accompts, by their Secretary, at the Bar, delivered a Paper of Accompts, pursuant to an Order of this House of Friday last.

Which being read, the following Order was made:

Sent to the Treasury, for their Observations.

"Upon reading this Day a State of the Yearly Supplies of Money intended for the Navy, &c. brought in from the Commissioners for examining, taking, and stating, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom: It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That a Copy of this Paper shall be sent to the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury, to make such Observations thereon as they shall think fit, and return them to this House."

Williams versus Read.

Upon Consideration of the Petition of Walter Williams Esquire, against Richard Read and others:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Chief Baron Atkins, Mr. Justice Nevill, Mr. Baron Lechmore, and Mr. Baron Turton, do attend this House To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon, to give an Account of the Proceedings in the Exchequer in this Case; whereof Mr. Justice Gregory, One of the Respondents in the Appeal, is to have Notice, and then also to attend.
