The Lord Keeper acquainted the House, "That Her Majesty had sent a Commission for the further proroguing of the Parliament."
Then the Lords Commissioners (in their Robes) being seated on a Form placed between the Throne and the Woolsack; the Lord Keeper in the Middle; the Lord President and Earl of Maclesfeld on his Right Hand; and the Earl of Bathe, the Earl of Nottingham, and the Earl of Montagu, on his Left Hand; commanded the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod to go to the House of Commons, and let them know, "That the Commissioners desire they would be present, to hear the said Commission read."

Damus autem universis et singulis Archiepiscopis, Ducibus, Marchionibus, Comitibus, Vicecomitibus, Episcopis, Baronibus, Militibus, Civibus, et Burgensibus, ac omnibus aliis quorum interest ad dictum Parliamentum Nostrum conventuris, Tenore Præsentium, firmiter in Mandatis, quod vobis in Præmissis faciendis, agendis, et exequendis, pareant, obediant, et intendant, prout decet. In cujus Rei Testimonium, has Literas Nostras fieri fecimus Patentes.

Which being ended, the Lord Keeper said,
Parliament prorogued.

"By Virtue of Their Majesties Commission now read, and to us directed, we do, in Their Majesties Name, prorogne this Parliament to Tuesday the Seventh Day of November next: And this Parliament is prorogued accordingly to Tuesday the Seventh Day of November next."
