PRAYERS.

Hayes versus Otterington.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of John Otterington, of the City of Dublin, in the Kingdom of Ireland, Gentleman, from a Decree and other Proceedings in the Court of Chancery, the Third Day of June, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-two, in cross Causes there depending, between John Hayes Esquire, and the said John Otterington; as also upon the Answer of the said John Hayes put in thereunto:

After due Consideration had of what was offered thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of John Otterington shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree and other subsequent Proceedings in the Court of Chancery in Ireland, complained of in the said Appeal, shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.

E. Pembroke, Bill to set aside Alterations in a Fine, &c.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to set aside several Amendments and Alterations made in the Records and Writs of a Fine, and Two Recoveries, in the Grand Sessions held for the County of Glamorgan."

L. Jeffries & al to be heard about it.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all Persons concerned in the above mentioned Bill shall have Notice thereof; and that a Copy of the same shall be delivered to John Lord Jeffryes and his Trustees or Guardian; who shall be heard, by their Counsel, what they have to object against the said Bill, on Monday the Sixth Day of February next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; as also Counsel for the Right Honourable the Earl of Pembroke Lord Privy Seal.

Lords Amendments to the Land Tax Bill, Report of the Conference on them considered.

The Order being read, for considering the Report of the Conference Yesterday with the House of Commons, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for granting to Their Majesties an Aid of Four Shillings in the Pound, for One Year, for carrying on a vigorous War against France."

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, for Freedom of Debate.

And, after a long Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Question was put, "Whether the House shall be now adjourned?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

Not to be referred to the Committee of Privileges.
