Hameldon, Lands, &c. in, for confirming, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for settling and confirming the Manors and Lands in Hameldon, in the County of Rutland, as they are now enjoyed, and have been for several Years last past, pursuant to an Agreement for enclosing and exchanging Lands there."

Cole versus L. Stawell & al.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the several Petitions and Appeals of John Cole Esquire, from an Order made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal, the Fifth Day of March One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety, upon the Bill of Revivor of John Lord Stawell, Edward Topp Esquire, Christian his Wife, Margaret and Jane Gray Infants, by the Lord Stawell their next Friend, Complainants; and also from an Order of the said Lords Commissioners, of the Eighteenth of January One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-one, and other Orders and Proceedings in the said Court of Chancery in his last Appeal mentioned; as also upon the Answer of the Right Honourable John Lord Stawell, Edward Topp Esquire, Christian his Wife, Margaret and Jane Gray Infants, by the said Lord Stawell their Guardian, put in thereunto; as also hearing Counsel on the Behalf of the Lady Stawell, Wife and Administratrix of the said John late Lord Stawell:

After due Consideration had of what was offered thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Decree made the Fifth Day of March One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety, and the Order of the Eighteenth of January One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety-one, and the other Orders and Proceedings in the said Cause made on the Behalf of the said Respondents, shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed: And it is further ORDERED, That the Appellant John Cole shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Respondents, the Sum of Forty Pounds, for their Costs sustained in defending the said Appeals in this House.

L. Mohun, Petition to be bailed, and for a speedy Trial.

Upon reading the Petition of Charles Lord Mohun; praying, "That he may be admitted to Bail, and be appointed a speedy Trial:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges; who are to consider thereof, and report their Opinions thereupon to this House; whose Lordships are to meet on Friday next, at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon; and that the Lord Chief Justice Holt do then attend.

Sevmour's Bill.

Whereas there is a Bill depending in this House, intituled, "An Act for the better Assurance of the Manor of Woodlands and Hundred of Knolton unto Edward Seymour Esquire:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. Ralph Hastings, of Hinton, in New-Forrest, Hampshire, shall have Notice thereof; and may be heard, if he please, before the Third Reading of the said Bill, on Saturday the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Superstitions Trusts, &c. for vesting in Their Majesties, Bill.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Friday next, at Eleven of the Clock, the House shall be put into a Committee, to consider of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the vesting of superstitious Trusts and Uses in the Crown;" and that the Lord Chief Justice Holt do then attend.
