PRAYERS.

Bayly versus Robson.

The House being this Day moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Sarab Bayly is Appellant, and Anne Robson and others Respondents; and that Mr. Lewis Lloyd, Solicitor for the Appellant Bayly, may enter into Recognizance for the said Appellant:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the said Mr. Lloyd may enter into Recognizance, as desired.

Gregson discharged.

Upon reading the Petition of John Gregson, now in Custody for a Breach of Privilege committed against the Earl of Thanet, and begging Pardon for his Offence:

He being called in, and reprimanded; it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Gregson shall be, and is hereby, discharged (paying his Fees); and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir Thomas Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.

Hoare versus Moulton.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of John Hoare, from an Order made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, the Seventeenth Day of December; and an Order of Dismission, of the Twelfth Day of February following, on the Behalf of John Moulton; as also upon the Answer of the said John Moulton put in thereunto:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Order of the Seventeenth Day of December One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-one, and also the said Order of Dismission of the Twelfth Day of February following, shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.

Free Conference on the Vote of H. C. approving Ad. Russel's Conduct, delivered at a Conference, without Reasons.

The Commons being come to the Free Conference, the last Managers Names were read, and agreed to.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Rochester reported, "That the Managers had attended the Conference, as commanded; and that the Commons said, They had no Directions to make any Reply; but would acquaint their House with what their Lordships had said."

Superstitious Trusts, for vesting in Their Majesties, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting of superstitious Trusts and Uses in the Crown."

ORDERED, To be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, upon the said Bill.

The House was resumed.

And the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress on the Bill, and found some Difficulties; and were of Opinion, That the Bill be given to the Judges, to consider of."

ORDERED, That the Judges shall have the Bill, to consider thereof, and of what Amendments are fit to be made therein; and bring the same on Saturday next to this House.

Adjourn.
