Gay versus Beaple.
Upon reading the Petition of Martha Gay; praying, "That she may have the Benefit of a Verdict and Judgements at Law, in regard the Respondent Thomas Beaple hath altogether neglected to give Security as ordered by this House:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Beaple may have a Copy of the said Petition; and this House will hear Counsel for the Petitioner, as also for the said Thomas Beaple, on Saturday the Nineteenth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Commitment, &c. of the E. of Huntingdon and E. of Marlborough.
The House proceeding this Day on the Debate concerning the Complaints of the Earl of Huntingdon, the Earl of Marleborough, and the Earl of Scarsdale:
Warrant for searching E. of Scarsdale's Papers to be sent to this House.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. Thomas Charnock do send to this House the original Warrant for searching the Earl of Scarsdale's House.
Then the Resolution drawn by the Committee in this Case was read.
Resolution concerning these Lords recommitted.
And, after hearing all the Judges, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Resolution drawn by the Committee, upon Consideration of the Grounds of Commitment of the Earl of Huntingdon, and the Earl of Marleborough, and the Complaint of the Earl of Scarsdale, and reported to this House the Eleventh Instant, shall be, and is hereby, re-committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and no other Business to intervene; and that all the Judges do then attend the House.
