PRAYERS.

Brown versus Mercer.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Edward Browne Merchant, from Two several Decrees made in the Court of Chancery, the One bearing Date the Fourth of December, One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-nine, and the other the Third Day of March last, in a Cause wherein Daniell Mercer and others are Plaintiffs, against the said Edward Browne and others Defendants; and praying the said Decrees (so far as concerns the Petitioner) may be reversed:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Daniell Mercer and others may have a Copy of the said Petition; and shall be, and they are hereby, required to put in their Answer or respective Answers thereunto, on Saturday the Three and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that all Proceedings in the Courts below be stayed upon the said Decrees.

Bayley versus Robson.

Upon reading the Petition of Sarah Bayley, Widow and Executrix of Edward Bayly her late Husband deceased, against Anne Robson Widow, Mary Robson, Anne and Katherine Robson Infants, by the said Anne the Widow, their Mother and Guardian, and Thomas Paske, William Bryan and others Defendants, and a cross Cause, wherein the said Anne Robson the Widow, Mary Robson, Anne Robson, and Katherine Robson, by the said Anne Robson the Widow, their Guardian, were Plaintiffs, and the said Edward Bayly and the said Sarah his Wife Defendants, from a Decree made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England; and prayed, "that the said Decree, made by the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, may be reversed; and that all Proceedings may be stayed upon the said Decree:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Anne Robson Widow, Mary Robson and Katherine Robson Infants by the said Anne Widow, their Mother and Guardian, and Thomas Paske, William Bryan, and others, may have a Copy of the said Petition; and be, and they are hereby, required to put in their Answer or respective Answers thereunto, in Writing, on Wednesday the Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that all Proceedings in the Courts below shall be stayed.

D. of Norfolk's Divorce Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Mary Dutchess of Norfolke:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir Richard Raynes, Sir Charles Hedges, and Doctor Oxenden, do attend this House To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, after hearing the Civil Lawyers To-morrow, this House will then consider when the Bill, (intituled, "An Act to dissolve the Marriage of Henry Duke of Norfolke, Earl Marshal of England, with the Lady Mary Mordant, and to enable the said Duke to marry again,)" shall be read the Second Time.

ORDERED, That all the Lords shall be summoned to attend this House To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
