The Earl of Shaftesbury reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill to enable Trustees to pay the Debts of Sir John Weld deceased, and have heard all Parties concerned; and have made a few Amendments, which are offered to the Consideration of the House."
The Amendments were read Twice, and Agreed to; and the Bill is ordered to be engrossed, with these Amendments.
Bill against Atheism, &c.
Hodie 1 vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the punishing Atheism and Blasphemy."
ORDERED, That this Bill be read the Second Time on Monday the 17th of this Instant June.
Suits and Delays, and Intestates Estates Bill.

Message to H. C. with these Three Bills.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Tymothy Baldwin and Sir John Hoskins; to deliver these Bills following, and to desire their Concurrence thereunto:
1. The Bill for continuing of Two Acts.
2. The Bill to enable Creditors to recover their Debts of the Executors, &c.
3. The Bill for Encouragement of Dealers in Butter and Cheese.
Cottington versus Angela Gallina his Wife: Records to be produced.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Keeper of the Records in The Tower of London, or his Deputy, be, and is hereby, required to bring such of the Records in the List herewith sent as are in his Custody before the Lords Committees for Privileges, in the House of Peers, on Monday next, being the Tenth of this Instant June, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon; and likewise that the Master of the Rolls cause such of the said Records as are in the List likewise herewith sent, in his Custody in the Chapel of The Rolls, to be brought before the said Lords Committees at the Time aforesaid.
Meade's Petition concerning a Writ of Error from the King's Bench.
Upon reading the Petition of Mathew Meade; shewing and complaining, "That a Verdict having passed against him, in the Court of King's Bench, in Hillary Terme last, and a Rule being made in the said Court in Easter Terme last, for entering the said Judgement; the Petitioner hath, during this Session of Parliament, in due Course, sued out a Writ of Error for bringing the said Judgement into this Court, but cannot effect the same, for that the Officers of the Court of King's Bench refuse to certify the said Judgement, for the Reasons in the said Mathew Meade's Petition suggested; and therefore he prayeth, that the Truth of the Premises may be examined, and he may be relived:"
It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Mathew Meade cause a Copy of his said Petition to be shewed to the Lord Chief Justice and other Judges of the Court of King's Bench; who are hereby appointed to give Order that the Judgement against the said Mathewe Meade be forthwith duly entered, and the Record perfected and certified into this Court, in Pursuance of the aforesaid Writ of Error by him sued forth in that Behalf.
Starr versus Sherwell.
Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, in the Cause upon the Petition of Robert Starr, being an Appeal from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery by the Earl of Shaftesbury on the Behalf of Thomas Sherwill deceased, which upon the reviving of the said Suit by Thomas Sherwill his Son and Executor stands confirmed by an Order of that Court; as also upon the Answer of the said Thomas Sherwill the Son put in thereunto, and the Replication of the Petitioner thereupon:
After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Part in the said Cause, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Robert Starr be, and is hereby, dismissed this House.
