Ledbury Vicarage Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the Augmentation of the Vicarage of Ledbury, in the County of Hereford."

Sir Scroope Howe versus E. of Rutland.

Edward Blunt, at the Bar, upon Oath deposed, "That, on the 16th Day of this Instant March, he did see the Earl of Rutland read the Copy of the Petition of Sir Scroope How, and the Order of this House thereupon; and his Lordship said, He saw there was nothing unreasonable in it."

But this House respited till Monday, to give further Order therein.

Bedell's Bill.

The Earl of Dorset reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for vesting of certain Manors and Lands of Edward Bedell in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of Debts; and, upon hearing of all Persons therein concerned, the Committee have made several Amendments."

Which, being read Twice, were Agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Bill for the more effectual Conviction of Popish Recusants.

The House was adjourned into a Committee, to proceed in Consideration of the Bill for the more effectual Conviction and Prosecution of Popish Recusants.

The House being resumed;

The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have been in Consideration of this Bill, and doth desire that the House would appoint a Time for the Committee to proceed again in the Consideration of this Bill."

And the House ordered To-morrow Morning for that Purpose.

Adjourn.
