Committee at Haberdashers Hall may assess those that have not contributed duly.; Committees to ease those over-rated.; Peers to be assessed only by their own House.

It is this day Ordered by the Lords and Commons in Parliament Assembled, that the Committee at Haberdashers-Hall, shall have power within the Citie of London, and twenty miles compasse, to call such persons before them that have not contributed proportionably upon the Propositions; and that they do appoint Assessors to sesse such of them as have not so contributed, according to the Ordinance of the 20. part: And that they shall have power to appoint Committees, to have power to ease such as shall bee over-rated: Provided alwayes, that this Ordinance shall not extend to the calling or Assessing of any of the Members of either House of Parliament, or of any Peere, or of any Assistant of the House of Peers, but that the House of Peers onely, shall have power to call and Assesse the Members and Assistants of that House, and every Peere whatsoever.
