Kilvert's Petition.
THE humble Petition of Richard Kilvert, read; and nothing done in it.
Wright's Nat.
William Wright, who has a Bill in to be naturalized, at the Clerk's Table took the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, as the Manner is.
Taking the Chair.
It was Declared, as a constant Rule, that Mr. Speaker is not to go to his Chair till there be at least Forty in the House.
Woodstock Election.
The House does approve of the Elections of Mr. Speaker and Sir Ro. Pye, to serve as Burgesses for the Town of Woodstock in Com. Oxon'; and does order, upon Question, that their Elections shall stand good, and not be farther questioned.
Marlo Magna Election.
Resolved, upon the Question, That whereas Mr. Whittlock was long since chosen and returned a Burgess for Marlo Magna in Com. Bucks, and that nothing as yet is come in against his Election, that his Election shall stand good, and not be questioned this Parliament.
Bishop of Canterbury.
Ordered, That the Committee for the Bishop of Cant' now sine die, do meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Duchy-chamber.
Impeachment of Lord Finch.
The Impeachment of Jo. Lord Finch Baron of Fordich, late Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, read; and some of the Particulars voted:
And then it was Ordered, That the Committee, appointed to draw up the Charge against the Lord Keeper, do presently go up to the Committee-chamber, to review the Charge; and to see if any thing be fit to be altered; and to offer it to the House.
Subsidies.
Ordered, That the House be resolved into a Committee, to proceed in the Reading of the Bill of Subsidies.
