Day of the Publick Fast.

ORDERED, That Sir Christ. Yelverton do return to Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Hill, Thanks from this House, for the great Pains they took in the Two Sermons they this Day preached, at the Intreaty of this House, this Day of publick and solemn Fast, at St. Margarett's, Westminster: And that he do likewise intreat them, from this House, to print their Sermons: And that they have the like Order that none shall print them, but such as they shall authorize and give Licence unto, as formerly other Gentlemen had, that preached upon the like Occasion.

Preachers appointed.

Ordered, That Mr. Hampden do, from the House, intreat Mr. Wm. Carter to preach at the next Fast: And that Mr. Nicholls do intreat Doctor Downing to preach then likewise.

Observation of Fast Days.

Ordered, That Sir Ro. Coke do bring in a Bill for the more solemn Observation of the Days of publick Fast and Humiliation: And that Mr. Prideaux and Mr. Hill do likewise prepare a Declaration to the like Purpose.

Cornewall Militia, &c.

Ordered, That Sir Rich. Buller, Mr. Carew, Mr. Tho. Arundell, Mr. F. Buller, Mr. Erisey, Mr. F. Godolphin, of Trevenegue, be injoined forthwith to go down into the County of Cornewall, to put the Ordinance of the Militia in Execution in that County; and to use their best Endeavours, by all lawful Ways and Means, for the Preservation of the Peace of that County: And are to have the like Instructions for the better Performing this Service, as the Deputy Lieutenants of the County of Warwick had.
