JOHN Beckz, Merchant, who has a Bill of Naturalization in the House, took the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy.

Countess of Exeter's Estates.

1^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Settling of the Hospital of St. Leonard's, near unto Newarke, upon the Countess Dowager of Exeter.

Billetmoney.

Sir Jo. Culpeper, Sir Jo. Hotham, Mr. Cage, Mr. Hollis, Mr. Schowen, Mr. Hoyle;

These are appointed to draw up an Order, concerning the Payment of the Billets of such Soldiers of the King's Army in the North, as are dead, or run away, since 8vo. December'; and those other Circumstances, that occurred here, upon the Debate of this Matter, they are likewise to take into Consideration.

St. Gregorie's Church.

Ordered, That the Committee for St. Gregorie's by Paule's do meet To-morrow, in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer-court.

Popish Hierarchy.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Popish Hierarchy do meet To-morrow, in the Afternoon, in the Treasurychamber: And the Letters, that were addressed to divers Catholicks in England, are referred to the Consideration of this Committee.

Committees.

Ordered, That all the Committees, that, for a time, were laid down, and, by Order, are this Day revived, shall meet, this Afternoon, in their wonted Places.

Algiers, &c. Pirates.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for Algiers, to consider of some speedy Way of providing Monies, for the Furnishing of so many Ships, as shall be necessary to be speedily set forth, for the Guard of the Seas, and Defence of the Kingdom.

Upon Mr. Kinge's Report from the Committee for Algiers, it is

Resolved, upon the Question, That his Majesty be moved, that Six of his Majesty's Ships, of the Second, Third, or Fourth Rank, be forthwith prepared, and employed to guard the Western Coasts against the Turkish Pirates; and those Ships to be commanded by good, experienced, and knowing Seamen.

Resolved, upon the Question, That his Majesty be moved, that all his Majesty's Subjects shall have free Liberty, without Letters of Mart or Reprizal, to take any Turkish, Moorish, or other Pirates, their Ships, Goods, and Prizes; and to convert and dispose of those Turkish Pirates Ships, Goods, and Prizes, to the Takers Use and Benefit, without any Account to his Majesty, or the Lord Admiral, or any other, for the Profits thereof, but only to the Adventurers: Provided, that they give good Caution, not to take any but Pirates; and that they give into the Admiralty a Note of all the particular Ships, and Goods, and Prizes, so taken, within Two Months after their Return.

Mr. Piercy is desired to move his Majesty, from this House, accordingly as 'tis expressed in these Votes.

Relief of Army, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee for the King's Army do meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the usual Place, to prepare an Order concerning the Payment. . those Monies, that shall come in towards the Relief of the King's Army and the Northern Counties; and to present it to the House To-morrow Morning.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Lady Dimock and Dr. Tomson do meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Exchequer-court.

Treaty with Scotland.

The Paper that came from the Lords at the last Conference, concerning the Garisons of Barwick and Carlisle, and the Scots total Conclusion of the Eighth Article, was read: And, after some Debate thereupon,

The Question being put, whether it should be committed, upon the whole Matter, before any Thing of it were voted;

Thereupon it was Resolved, That it should be committed, upon the whole Matter, before any Thing of it were voted.

Ordered, That it shall be committed unto those Six, that were the Reporters of the last Conference.

Mr. Treasurer, Mr. Hollis, Sir Jo. Strangewayes, Sir Jo. Culpeper, Mr. Hide, Mr. Glyn;

This Committee is to take the Paper, that came from the Lords at the last Conference, into Consideration, upon the whole Matter of it: And are to prepare Heads for a Conference, to be desired with the Lords, upon it; and to present them to the House, To-morrow Morning, at Nine of Clock: And are to meet this Afternoon, at Five of Clock, in the inner Court of Wards.
