Domino Willielmo Warham, Prædecessore nostro, ad Ecclesiam Cantuariensem translato, et per hoc isto supradicto statuto in magnâ sui parte evacuato, et quia omnia et singula redditus, proventus, commoditates, proficua, juraque et emolumenta, tam maneriorum, firmarum, dominiorum, gratiarum, quàm alia commoda et emolumenta Ecclesiæ sub unius administratione et dispositione in forma a dicto statuto longè aliena et diversa, non sine Ecclesiæ prædictæ detrimento et incommodo, prout quam plurium sententiâ et judicio in ipsâ nostrâ visitatione com pertum habuimus, ad firmam locata et concessa sunt; nos igitur, habitâ super præmissis maturâ deliberatione atque inquisitione diligenti, ipsorumque Decani et Capituli communicato consilio et consensu præhabito, hujusmodi locationem et concessionem retractavimus et annullavimus, dictique Predecessoris nostri statutum innovavimus, illudque in omnibus et per omnia deinceps inviolabiliter observandum fore decrevimus, sicque tenore præsentium decernimus: mandantes et firmiter injungentes, quod Dominus Nicholaus Curlews, cujus persona tanquam idonea per dictos Decanum et Capitulum ad actum hujusmodi electa exstitit et approbata, omnia et singula fructus, redditus, et proventus ac cætera jura, obventiones, commoda et emolumenta, de et ex dominiis, maneriis, firmis, gratiis et aliter qualitercunque provenientia, et eidem Ecclesiæ a Festo Sancti Michaelis Archangeli ultimè præterito ante datum præsentium debita recipiet, solvet, liberabit, computabit, ac cætera omnia et singula faciet et exequetur, juxta et secundum omnem vim, formam et effectum ipsius Prædecessoris nostri statuti in eâ parte salubriter editi: vosque idem statutum, in quantum personam vestram Ecclesiæque nostræ statum concernit, juxta tenorem et effectum ejusdem, in omnibus observare curetis. Editum erat hoc statutum octavo die Junii, Anno Domino Millesimo quingentesimo octavo.
