PRAYERS.

Reformadoes.

THE Petition of divers Reformado Lieutenants and Ensigns of the King's Army were this Day read; and referred to the Committee last appointed to consider of the State of the King's Army.

Bp. of Elye.

Ordered, That the Bishop of Elye's Committee do sit this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the usual Place.

Restoring Mantle.

Leave of Absence.

Mr. Sutton and Sir Jo. Leigh have Leave to go into the Country; and to be absent for a convenient Time.

Abuses in Elections.

Committees.

Ordered, That the Committees for general Bills only, and the Grand Committees, shall be revived; to meet this Afternoon in their usual Places.

Prinne's Case.

Mr. Rigby reports Mr. Prinne's Case; and, after some Debate thereupon, it was Ordered, That the Votes of the Committee, resulting from that whole Matter, shall be put to the Question the next Morning the House sits.

A Member apologizes.

Exceptions being taken to Mr. Kirton's Carriage on Monday Evening last, he was first commanded to withdraw a while; and then was called down; and, being in his Place, Mr. Speaker told him, that the House had considered of his Carriage on Monday Evening last; and had justly taken Offence at it; and do expect Satisfaction, by his Acknowledgment.

He did, in his Place, express his Sorrow for it: And the House was satisfied therewith.

Attainder of Earl of Straford.

2da vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Attainder of Tho. Earl of Straford of High Treason; upon Question, committed unto a Committee of the whole House, Mr. Speaker sitting by: And are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock.

House to sit.

A Message from the Lords, by J. Reeve and J. Heath;

The Lords intend to sit this Afternoon; and desire that this House, if it may stand with their Conveniency, may do the like; in regard they intend to desire a Conference, concerning the Treaty between the Two Kingdoms.

Answer returned by the same Messengers;

This House has taken their Lordships Message into Consideration; and to intend to sit this Afternoon.

Ordered, That the House meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock.

Attainder of Earl of Straford.

THE Order for resolving the House into a Committee to consider of the Bill for the Attainder of Tho. Earl of Straford of High Treason, was read:

And accordingly the House was resolved into a Committee:

And Mr. Perd was called to the Chair.

Mr. Speaker reassumed the Chair.

A Message from the Lords, by J. Reeves and Serjeant Glanvile;

Trial of Earl of Straford.

The Lords have sent them with this Message; they have appointed to hear the Counsel of the Earl of Straford To-morrow at Eight of Clock, in Westminsterhall, concerning the Matter of Law.

Treaty with Scotland.

They desire a Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, touching the Treaty of both Kingdoms (concerning which they have received the Papers); and this presently, if it may stand with the Conveniency of this House, in the Painted Chamber.

Answer returned by the same Messengers;

This House is resolved to give a present Meeting, as is desired.

Ordered, That the Members of the House return so soon as the Conference shall be ended.

Mr. Treasurer, Lord Falkland, Mr. Pimme, Sir Jo. Hotham, Mr. Fines, Mr. Hollis, Sir Jo. Colpeper, are appointed Reporters of this Conference.

Conference deferred.

Sir Jo. Colpeper acquaints the House, That the Earl of Bristoll told them, that they found it very late; and the Business was likely to be very long; and did therefore desire, that the Conference might be To-morrow in the Afternoon, between Three and Four of Clock.
