MR. Clarke, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill for registring Memorials of Deeds, Conveyances, and Wills: And the same was received, and read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time upon Tuesday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock.

Supply.

The House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Motion made on Monday last, That a Supply be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on the War against France with Vigour.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Thomas Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had considered the Matter to them referred; and had come to a Resolution; which they had directed him to report to the House, and which, upon the Question, he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was read; and is as followeth; viz.

Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That a Supply be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on the War against France with Vigour.

The said Resolution being read a Second time;

Resolved, Nemine Contradicente, That the House doth agree with the Committee in the said Resolution, That a Supply be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on the War against France with Vigour.

Mr. Foley, in Obedience to the Order Yesterday, presented to the House, from the Commissioners for taking and stating the Publick Accounts, an Account of Monies paid to the Fleet, to the Army, to the Allies, and for Forge: and delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was read; and is as followeth; viz.

Memorandum: The Money issued for Wear and Tear hath paid 82,000l. for the Service of the Ordinary; which has much streightened the Navy in buying Stores.

Though the General Officers have had 14,751l. 8s. 11d. That cleared them only to the 31st of December 1693, inclusive: So all due to them for the Year 1694, is in Arrear, unless satisfied out of what have been issued since Michaelmas.

Memorandum: The 91,517l. 14s. 5d. was issued to Mr. Fox and Lond Coningsby, who pay for Transports, and have issued the same on that Account, and towards satisfying the Irish Arrears; except 3,300l. they issued for Levy-Money, for Regiments raised here for the Service of Ireland, and must be repaid out of the Revenue of that Kingdom: And 9,988l. 0s. 9¾d. for Subsistence of the Regiments that came this Year from Ireland, and are placed on the English Establishment; 280l. for Pensions; and 300l. for Recruits for Colonel Winn's Dragoons.

Memorandum. The Army is less than was provided for by the Commons; and the Pay of some of the Officers are lessened; which, allowing for all additional Forces, sinks the total Charge about 160,000l.
