Prayers.

Poor Laws.

RESOLVED, That this House will, upon Saturday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the several Laws relating to the Poor; and for preparing of Heads for a Bill for the better Relief of the Poor, and for setting them on Work.

Call of the House.

The Order of the Day, for calling over the House, being read;

Ordered, That the Call of the House be adjourned until Monday Morning next, Ten a Clock.

Free Proceedings in Parliament.

A Bill touching free and impartial Proceedings in Parliament was presented to the House, and received; and read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time To-morrow Sevennight, at Ten a Clock.

Monies paid to the Fleet, &c.

Ordered, That the Commissioners for taking and stating the publick Accounts do forthwith lay before this House a short Account of what Monies have been paid, since January last, to the Fleet, to the Army, to the Allies, and for Forage.

Stockbridge Writ.

The House, according to Order, took into Consideration the Motion on Monday was Sevennight, touching the Borough of Stockbridge:

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for electing a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Stockbridge in the County of Southampton, in the room of Richard Whitehead Esquire, deceased.

Duties on Paper, &c.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Tuesday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Act, made the last Session, intituled, An Act for granting to their Majesties several Duties upon Vellum, Parchment, and Paper, for Four Years, towards carrying on the War against France.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight a Clock.
