Prayers.

Hawkers and Pedlars.

ORDERED, That Mr. Christy be added to Mr. Sandford, to prepare and bring in the Bill against Hawkers and Pedlars.

Supply Bill; importing Brandy, &c.

A Bill for Repeal of a Clause, in the Act made in the First Year of their Majesties Reign for prohibiting all Trade and Commerce with France, which prohibits the Importation of Brandy, Aqua-Vitæ, and other Spirits, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Saturday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the said Bill.

Ordered, That it be an Instruction to the said Committee of the whole House, that they have Power to receive a Clause to repeal so much of the Acts made in the 18th and 20th Years of King Charles the Second, which prohibits the Importation of Bacon.

Frequent Parliaments.

Mr. Brockman, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill for the more frequent Elections of Parliaments: And the same was received, and read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time upon Saturday Morning next.

Money given for Naval Services.

Mr. Foley, from the Commissioners for taking the publick Accounts, according to Order, presented to the House, A State of what Money had been given for Maintenance of the Fleet during the War; and what they had received thereof.

And the same was read.

Ordered, That the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have a Copy of the said State, and give, in Writing, to this House, such Objections as they have to the same, on Monday Morning next.

Supply.

Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Motion made on Monday last, for a Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Tho. Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Tho. Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had come to a Resolution, which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place, and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was read, and is as followeth:

Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, that a Supply be granted to their Majesties, for Maintenance of the Fleet for the Service of the Year One thousand Six hundred Ninety-four.

The said Resolution being read a Second time;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the House doth agree with the Committee in the said Resolution, That a Supply be granted to their Majesties, for Maintenance of the Fleet for the Service of the Year One thousand Six hundred Ninety-four.

Then Sir Tho. Littleton also acquainted the House, That he was directed by the said Committee to move the House, that they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Saturday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for Maintenance of the Fleet.

Resolved, That an humble Address be presented to his Majesty, by such Members of this House as are of his Majesty's most Honourable Privy Council, that his Majesty will please to command, that the State of the War for the Year One thousand Six hundred Ninety-four, in relation to the Navy, be laid before this House.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
