PRAYERS.

New Windsor Writ.

ORDERED, That the Clerk of the Crown forthwith deliver the Writ for Electing of Two Burgesses to serve in this Parliament for the Town of New Windesor in the County of Berks, to the Sheriff of the said County, who is now in Town.

Members to examine a Witness.

Mr. Grimston, and Mr. Purefrey, have Leave from this House to go and examine Mr. Collins, of Lincoln's Inn, as a Witness in Mr. Prynn's Cause; in regard that Mr. Collins, by reason of Sickness, is not able to attend the Committee: And they are to report his Examination to the Committee for Mr. Prinne's Business.

Burton's Petition.

Mr. Burton hath Leave to mend his Petition.

Walker's Petition.

Ordered, That Mr. Walker's second Petition be referred to the Committee for his first Petition, with the same Power as the former was.

Colonel Lunsford.

Colonel Lunsford being upon some Occasions to attend the House of the Lords, and this House; and having likewise some Occasions of his own; it was desired, that with the Leave of this House, he may attend the Lord General, for his Leave to stay so long in Town, as his Lordship shall think fit:

And it was agreed unto accordingly.

Allaby's, &c. Petitions.

There were Three Petitions delivered, from one Mr. Allaby, Mr. Sparke, and Mr. Clobrey, which were all Three referred to the Committee for Mr. Pryn's Petition: And Mr. Clobrey has Liberty to come in safe Custody to prosecute his Petition; and he is to have the same Privilege as Dr. Leighton has.

Captives at Algiers, &c.

Ordered, That the Petition this Day read, and preferred by Joseph Hawes and Partners, Merchants, be referred to the same Committee as was appointed for the Captives of Algiers: And they are to consider, what Agents have been employed in this Business; and to inquire after all such as receive any Pensions from foreign States; and to consider of the Articles of Treaty between the Two Kingdoms of England and Spain: And Doctor Eden is added to this Committee.

Bill for Subsidies.

The same Committee that was appointed to draw up the Bill for the Grant of the One hundred thousand Pounds, is to draw up the Bill for the Two Subsidies; and are to take into Consideration those Circumstances that happened here in Debate concerning that Business; and are to meet this Afternoon at Two of Clock, in the Exchequer-court.

Molton and Allerton Writs.

Ordered, That the Towns of Maolton and Allerton, in the County of Yorke, which formerly (as appeared to the Committee upon View of Record) sent Burgesses, but for some time had discontinued, be restored and remitted to their ancient Privileges of sending Burgesses to Parliament: And that a Warrant issue forth under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, to send forth a Writ for Electing of Two Burgesses to serve in this present Parliament for the said Towns of Molton and Allerton.

Tewxbury Election.

Sir Tho. Roe, Mr. Hollys, Mr. Fines, Sir Simonds D'Ewes, Sir Hugh Cholmeley, Sir Nevill Poole, Mr. Kirton, Mr. Jo. Moore, Mr. Hoyle, Mr. Crew, Sir Jo. Culpepper, Mr. Mallory, Mr. Cage, Alderman Pennington, Sir H. Anderson, Sir Peter Heyman, Sir Miles Fleetewood, and all the Lawyers of the House, or any Four of them, that will come;

This Committee is to state the Case of Tewxbury, and to present it in Writing to the House, to consider of: And they are likewise to prepare a Bill to prevent Inconveniencies in Elections here: And has Power to send for Parties, Witnesses, Papers, Records, or any thing else, that they shall think may conduce to the Business; and are to meet on Tuesday, at Two of Clock in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer-court.

Petition from London.

Resolved, upon the Question, That there shall be a Day certain set down for the Debating of the Petition now read, and presented from many of the Inhabitants of, in, and about the City of London:

That this Debate shall be on Thursday next:

That the Roll of Names, brought in with this Petition, shall be sealed with Mr. Speaker's Seal, and the Two Aldermens of the City of London; and be kept in Mr. Speaker's Hand, till the House shall farther order it:

That the Members [of] the House may have Copies of this Petition, and none [else.]

Army Supply, &c.

Tis ordered to take into Consideration, the Providing and Sending down of the rest of the Money, intended for the Relief of the King's Army, and the Northern Counties, To-morrow Morning at Nine of Clock: And the Committee for the Bill of Subsidies is to meet this Afternoon.

Pargetter's Petition.

The Petition preferred by Mr. Pargetter was, by Order, delivered to Mr. Knightley.

Charge against Ld. Keeper.

The Committee to prepare the Charge against the Lord Keeper, now sine die, is to meet this Afternoon.
