Baxter's Petition, concerning Manning not bringing in the Writ of Error.
A Petition of Joanna Baxter, Administratrix of George Baxter, Defendant in a Writ of Error sued out by Robert Manning, returnable in Parliament, was presented to the House, and read; setting forth, "That, on the Fifteenth of this Instant March, upon the Petitioner's Application, their Lordships were pleased to order the said Robert Manning, Plaintiff in the said Writ of Error, to procure the Record of a Judgement, recovered against him in the Court of Exchequer, to be transcribed, and brought into this House on or before Yesterday; which Order he has not complied with;" and praying, "That the Petitioner may be at Liberty to take out Execution on the said Judgement, as if no such Writ of Error had been sued out:"
Ordered, That the said Petition do lie on the Table.

Visc. Montague versus Maxwell.
Upon reading the Petition of Henry Lord Viscount Mountague; praying a further Day may be appointed, for hearing Counsel, pursuant to the Order of this House on the Twelfth Instant, in regard Spencer Cowper Esquire, One of the Petitioner's Counsel, is so much indisposed in his Health, that he cannot be able to attend the Hearing on Tuesday next, as appointed:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel, at the Bar, pursuant to the said former Order, on Monday the First Day of April next, at Eleven a Clock.
Ashe's Letter to be delivered to Clerk in Chancery.
Whereas, upon hearing the Appeal of Simeon Ashe Clerk, and others, on the Seventh and Eighth Days of this Instant March, a Letter was delivered in by the Respondent's Counsel, which had been made Use of at the Trial in the Court of Common Pleas:
The House being this Day moved, "That the said Letter be delivered to the Respondent's Clerk in Chancery:"
It is Ordered, That the said Letter be delivered to the Respondent's Clerk in Chancery, to be by him kept, subject to the Order of that Court.
