PRAYERS.

Hamilton versus Darcy.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Darcy Hamilton Esquire, from a Decree and several Decretal Orders made in the High Court of Chancery in Ireland, in a certain Cause, wherein Hyacinthus Darcy Esquire was Plaintiff, and the Appellant and others Defendants; praying, "That the same may be reversed:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Hyacinthus Darcy may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Wednesday the Third Day of April next.

East India Goods and Naval Stores, Account of delivered.

The House being informed, "That some of the Commissioners of the Customs attended:"

They were called in; and delivered, at the Bar, pursuant to some Acts of Parliament, several Papers; the Titles whereof were read, as follow:

"The Return of the Commissioners of the Customs to the Right Honourable the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, with the Accounts of prohibited East India Goods and Naval Stores imported from Russia, from Michaelmas 1714 to Michaelmas 1715, and also from Michaelmas 1715 to Michaelmas 1716.

1. "An Account of prohibited East India Goods remaining in the several Warehouses in the Port of London at Michaelmas 1714; with what have been brought in since that Time, what exported, as also what remained at Michaelmas 1715."

2. "An Account of prohibited East India Goods remaining in the several Warehouses in the Port of London at Michaelmas 1715; with what have been brought in since that Time, what exported, as also what remained at Michaelmas 1716."

3. "An Account of prohibited East India Goods remaining in the respective Warehouses of the Outports, at Michaelmas 1714; what brought in since that Time, what exported, as also what remained at Michaelmas 1715."

4. "An Account of prohibited East India Goods remaining in the respective Warehouses of the Outports at Michaelmas 1715; what brought in since that Time, what exported, as also what remained at Michaelmas 1716."

5. "An Account of Naval Stores imported from Russia into the Port of London, from Michaelmas 1714 to Michaelmas 1715."

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Craggs and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable His Majesty effectually to prohibit or restrain Commerce with Sweden;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Wood versus Craniner.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Charles Wood Esquire, Son and Heir of Sir Cesar Wood, alias Cranmer, who was Son and Heir of Mary Wood, the Elder of the Two Sisters of Sir Henry Wood deceased, from an Order made in the Court of Chancery the Sixth Day of August 1715, and from an enrolled Decree of the said Court made the 14th of January 1713, on the Behalf of Anne Cranmer; praying, "That her Plea put in to the Appellant's Bill may be over-ruled, and the Order allowing the same be discharged; and that the Enrollment of the Decree, so far as relates to the Three Thousand Pounds and Interest mentioned in the Appeal, may be set aside, and the Cause laid open to be re-heard:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Anne Cranmer may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and is hereby required to put in her Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Wednesday the Thirteenth Day of March next.

Commerce with Sweden, to prohibit, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable His Majesty effectually to prohibit or restrain Commerce with Sweden."

Ordered, That, in respect of the pressing Nature of this Bill, notwithstanding the Standing Order of this House, the same be now read a Second Time.

The Bill was accordingly read a Second Time.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read the Third Time To-morrow.
