Roeters' Nat. Bill:

The Lord Bishop of Carlisle reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Gerard Roeters," was committed: "That they had gone through the said Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Then the said Bill was read the Third Time.

And the Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H.C. that the Lords have agreed to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Hiccocks and Mr. Holford:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Commissioners Accompts, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to appoint a Commissioner, for taking, examining, and stating, the Debts due to the Army, in the room of Thomas Smith Esquire, deceased; and for continuing the former Act until the Tenth Day of March One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixteen."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Tuesday next.

E. of Wintoun, to be brought up for Judgement:

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lieutenant of The Tower of London do bring George Earl of Wintoun to the Bar of this House, in Westminster Hall, on Monday next, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon, that their Lordships may proceed further, in order to Judgement upon the said Earl.

Message to H.C. to acquaint them with it.

And a Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Hiccocks and Mr. Holford, to acquaint them with the said Order.

E. Clanriccard versus Burke.

Upon reading the Petition of John Earl of Clanricard in the Kingdom of Ireland; setting forth, "That Gerald Burke Esquire has not yet put in his Answer to the Petitioner's Appeal lodged in this House last Summer, though duly served with their Lordships Order for that Purpose;" and praying, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing the Merits of the Appeal; and if, in the mean Time (upon Service of their Lordships Order), the Respondent does not put in his Answer at the Day to be appointed, that the said Appeal may be heard ex Parte:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That if the said Respondent does not put in his Answer on or before Tuesday the Twenty-seventh Day of this Instant March, that then this House will proceed to hear the said Cause ex Parte.
