PRAYERS.

Rutter & al. versus Tyson.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of William Rutter Senior, William Rutter Junior, by the said William Rutter Senior, his Father and Guardian, and John Cay, complaining of a Decree of the Court of Exchequer, in a Cause wherein William Tyson Gentleman was Plaintiff, and the Appellants and others Defendants; and praying, "That the same may be reversed:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in parliament assembled, That the said William Tyson may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Friday the Third Day of February next, at Eleven a Clock.

Habeas Corpus Act, to suspend, Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act of this present Session of Parliament, intituled, An Act to empower His Majesty to secure and detain such Persons as His Majesty shall suspect are conspiring against His Person and Government."

And after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Delawar reported from the said Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Ordered, That the said Bill be read the Third Time To-morrow, the First Business.

Adjourn.
