PRAYERS.

Lady Vere and Sir R Harley to speak with L. Conway.

Ordered, That the Lady Vere and Sir Rob't Harley, or either of them, shall be permitted to speak in Private with the Lord Viscount Conway, as often as their Occasions serve, about their Private Affairs.

Mr. Fitz Williams, to speak with the E. of Portland.

Ordered, That Wm. Fitz-Williams Esquire shall be permitted to speak in Private with the Earl of Portland.

Infected Houses at Lambeth to be shut up.

Upon Information to the House, "That there are Ten Houses at Lambeth infected with the Sickness, and no Care taken to prevent their going abroad, nor to take Care of them:" Hereupon this House Ordered, That Mr. Baker of Lambeth Esquire, Mr. Cornelius Cooke, Mr. Wright, and Mr. Haughton, of Southwarke, shall take Care that the Houses infected be shut, and some Course taken for the Persons that are infected, that so the Infection spread no further.

Noell's Petition, to be relieved from the Ordinance for Sequestrations.

Upon reading the Petition of Henry Noell; shewing, "That he, never being in actual War against the Par liament, conceives himself not subject to the Ordinance of Sequestrations, yet nevertheless his Estate is sequestered; and offered divers Affidavits to prove that his standing upon his Guard was merely for his Defence, and no Opposition to the Parliament:" Hereupon this House Ordered, To communicate the said Petition and Affidavit to the House of Commons, at a Conference; and desire that the Examination thereof may be referred to the Committee of Advance of Monies at Haberdashers Hall, and that Major Griffith, who was an Eye-witness of the Business, may be heard what he can say touching the Carriage of Mr. Noell; and, if the said Committee cannot end the Business, then their Lordships are to report the same to this House.

Message to the H. C. for a Conference about it, and Two Ordinances;

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Edward Leech and Dr. Aylett:

To desire a Conference, touching the Ordinance sent down to them, concerning Horses.

2. Touching the Ordinance concerning Prisoners.

3. Concerning a Petition of Mr. Henry Noell's.

Substance of the Conference.

The Substance of this Conference was, "To desire the House of Commons to expedite the Ordinance lately sent down to them, concerning the regulating the Taking of Horses.

"Also to let them know, that their Lordships desire that the Ordinance touching the regulating the using of Prisoners may pass as it was sent down from their Lordships, with the Amendments."

Dr. Soames to have the Vicarage-house at Staines.

Upon reading the Petition of Dr. Somes, Vicar of Staynes: It is Ordered, That he shall have the Use of the Vicarage house at Staynes, for his Children to live in, if the Minister that officiates there be provided otherwise, and no Inconveniency to him; and that some of the Names that were first presented by Doctor Soames shall be Persons that shall receive the Profits during the Time of the Sequestration.

That the House of Commons will give a present Conference, as is desired, in the Painted Chamber.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference; which being ended, the House was resumed.

Ordered, That Mrs.Digby shall have a Pass, to go into Russia, to her Husband, who is an Agent for the English Merchants there.
