The Lord Grey appointed by the House to be Speaker this Day.
Explanation of the Order for Restraint of the Prisoners in The Tower.
It was moved, "That the Lieutenant of The Tower desires Explanation of an Order of both Houses, of the 24 Die Octobris, That no Prisoners in The Tower shall speak or converse with one another, but in the Presence or Hearing of his Keeper:" Which Words ["Presence or"] this House Ordered should be omitted in the said Order.
Answer from the H. C. about Ld. Say & Seale's Engagement for the King's Childrens Support.
The Messengers sent to the House of Commons (fn. 1) last Night, concerning the Seven Hundred and Eighty Pounds which the Lord Viscount Say hath engaged himself for, for the Payment of Diet for the King's younger Children; and the House of Commons returns this Answer, That they will take the same into Consideration, and send an Answer by Messengers of their own.
Relation of the Battle near Kenton to be communicated to the City, at the Earl of Essex's Request.
The Lord Wharton signified unto the House, "That the Lord General's Desire was, That the Relation of the Battle at Kenton might be made to the City of London, having found so much Friendship from them:" Which this House thought fit, and Ordered, To send to the Lord Mayor, to call a Common Hall, to meet this Afternoon, at Five of the Clock; and that (fn. 2) a Committee of both Houses shall appoint a (fn. 3) Time to go to the City; and the Lord Wharton, who was an Actor in the Business, is to make the Relation. Ten Lords of this House are appointed to go, with a proportionable Number of the House of Commons.
Message to the H. C. for Committees to go into the City for that Purpose.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Dr. Aylett and Dr. Heath:
To let them know, that this House hath appointed a Committee of Ten Lords, to go to the Common Hall in London, this Afternoon, at Four of the Clock, to make a Relation of the Battle to the City of London; and to desire them to appoint a proportionable Number of their House, to join with them.

Ordered, That Four Coach-horses of the Lady Della Ware, which are detained, by Order of both Houses, amongst other Horses, for the Defence of the Parliament and City of London: It is hereby Ordered, That the said Horses shall be released and delivered to her Ladyship, upon Sight hereof.
