A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Doctor Bennett and Mr. Hakewill:
1. To put them in Mind of the Ordinance formerly sent down, concerning the College of Westm.
2. To desire their Concurrence, that Mr. Swinfen be added to be of the Committee concerning the College of Westm. in the Place of Mr. Solicitor St. Johns.
Godfrey concerning L. Willoughby's Estate.
Ordered, That Mr. Godfrey shall have Fourteen Days longer to be heard concerning such of the Lord Willoughbie's Estate as is made over to him for his Security.
Message from the H. C. to expedite the Propositions for settling a Peace with Scot.; and the Vote for banishing Delinquents; and with an Order.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Annesley, &c.
1. To desire their Lordships would please to expedite the Proposition brought up Yesterday, concerning settling of a mutual Peace and Defence between England and Scotland. (Here enter it.)
Read, and Agreed to.
2. To desire their Lordships Expedition to the Votes concerning the Seven Persons that are to be banished this Kingdom, and desire they may be sent to the King; they conceiving it to be a Part of the Proposition to the King concerning Delinquents.
3. An Order giving Power to the Committee at Derby House, to dispose of the Monies for paying the Horse Guards. (Here enter it.)

That this House agrees to the Order concerning Power given to the Committee at Derby House, for issuing our Warrant for paying the Guards, and to the Proposition concerning Scotland: To the rest, their Lordships will take it into Consideration, and will send an Answer by Messengers of their own.
Raynes and Silver.
Ordered, That the Cause between Raynes and Silver shall be heard, by Counsel, at this Bar, To-morrow Sevennight.
Shadwell and Toll, about the Comptroller's Place at Lynn.
Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Shadwell; shewing, "That both Houses having bestowed upon (fn. 1) him the Place of Comptroller of the Customs of Lynne Regis, by Ordinance of Parliament; yet one Mr. Thomas Toll, by Misinformation to this House, hath obtained an Ordinance for that Place, whereby he is put out; therefore desires he may be heard:"
It is Ordered, That Counsel on both Sides shall be heard, concerning this Business, To-morrow Fortnight.
Mrs. Sawyer's Pet.
Upon reading the Petition of Sarah Sawyer Widow:
It is to be recommended to the House of Commons, for some Consideration for her Fourteen Children.
Proposition for Security of those of Scotl. who have assisted the Parliament of Engl. and for a Peaces between the Nations.
"Resolved, by the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled,
"That such Agreements as shall be made by both Houses with the Kingdom of Scotland, for the Security of all those of that Kingdom who have assisted or adhered to the Parliament of England, and for the settling and preserving an happy and durable Peace between the Two Nations, and for the mutual Defence of each other, be confirmed by Act of Parliament.
"Resolved, &c.
"That this Proposition be sent to the Commissioners in the isle of Wight, and propounded to the King for His Consent."
Order for Payment of the Guards attending the Houses.
"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That the Committee at Habberdash'rs Hall, appointed for the Advance of Monies for the Horse Guards that attend the Houses, do, upon Warrant from the Committee at Derby House, from Time to Time, pay the said Guards, according to the Establishment for them, upon Musters."
