Ale-houses.

Subsidy.
Mr. Speaker reporteth, that he was sent for to the King.
The King taketh Knowlege of the Proceeding of the House, touching the Subsidy.
Takes more Joy in the Manner, than if the Value of Ten times so much had fallen unto him by any other Accident.
Three Causes of his Acceptance:
1. Out of Love, without Motion.
2. Concurrence in Speech and Voice, in eodem sensu : - Like Thanks to both. - A Dismay to the Opposites.
3. A more speedy Manner, than ever heretofore. -
That he would charge and change the Property of his own Estate.
That he would expose his Person to Danger for your Good.
That no Man was more sensible, either in this House, or in the Commonwealth.
That a Committee may be named, to make Demands and Propositions.
Custom on Cloths.
Sir John Savill: - Touching an Abuse in the Custom of Cloths.
Grievances.
Sir Robert Wingfield:- For the great Committee for Subsidy, to consider of such Grievances, as shall be offered by any Member of the House.
Lake's Estate.
