To answer truly to such Questions as shall be demanded of them by the Lords Committees for Petitions.

Lord Keeper delivered the Message of Yesterday to the King.

The Lord Keeper reported to the House, That he did Yesterday (according to their Lordships Order) attend His Majesty, with the Message from this House; but, it being late, His Majesty commanded him to wait on Him again this Afternoon; and, for the present, to signify unto their Lordships, That His Majesty will return them an Answer to that Message with all the Speed He carl.

Collection for the Poor in the late Infection.

The Earl of Clare, one of the Lords Committees for Privileges (unto whose Consideration the Distribution of the Money lately collected for Relief of the Poor Distressed People of London and Westm. together with the Out-parishes, in Time of the late Infection, was referred), reported, That, in respect Westm. was much visited with Sickness, and the Parishioners inforced to borrow great Sums of Money, besides their own Charitable Contributions, their Lordships do think fit that Three Hundred Pounds of the Money remaining undistributed of those Collected Moneys be paid forthwith for the Relief of the City of Westm. and these Sums to the Parishes following: videlicet, to St. Clements, the Sum of Five and Twenty Pounds, Sixteen Shillings; St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, the Sum of Twenty Pounds; Savoy, the Sum of Fifteen Pounds; Clarkenwell, the Sum of Five and Twenty Pounds; St. Gyles's-in-the-Fields, the Sum of Twenty Pounds; White Chapple and Stepney, the Sum of Fifty Pounds; to the Borough of Southworke, the Sum of Forty Pounds; St. Gyles-near-Cripplegate, the Sum of Five and Twenty Pounds; the Bishop of London, the Sum of Nineteen Pounds. And further, that their Lordships do think fit, That Westm. be fully excluded for any further Relief; and the whole Sum which is remaining of the Sums collected in those Dioeses which are not as yet returned, there be further Consideration had how the same shall be disposed of; whether any more thereof shall be allowed unto any of the Out-parishes, or the whole shall be converted for the Redemption of the English Captives in Salley.

All which was Ordered accordingly.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the establishing of the Estates of the Tenants of Bromfeild and Yale, in the County of Denbigh, and of the Tenures, Rents, and Services, thereunto reserved.

Put to the Question, and generally Assented unto.

The House being moved, to consider of an Answer to be returned unto the Message sent from the Commons (undecimo Maii), for the Commitment of the Duke of Buckingham to safe Custody, &c. it was Ordered (upon the Question), That an Answer should be forborne to be sent unto the House of Commons until further Consideration.
