Starkey versus Starkey.

THE Petition of Ralph Starkey; praying, That the Lord Keeper may be enabled, by Authority of Parliament, to hear and determine, in the Chancery, the Cause between him and his Brother Henry Starkey, notwithstanding that the Lands which he sues for lie in the County Palatine of Chester; and that he may have the Benefit of such Depositions as are already taken in the Chancery in that Cause, etc. was read.

The which Petition was referred to the Lords Committees for Petitions.

And yet the Lords Agreed, That they would not stay the Proceedings on the Bill exhibited in Parliament by the said Ralph Starkey, concerning the said Lands. And therefore the Lords Committees appointed for that Bill are to meet thereon the 21st of this April, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

E. of Bristol's Petition to be exhibited to the Committee for Petitions.

The House being moved, That a Petition, which the Earl of Bristol had sent, might be read; thereupon the Lords called for the said Petition. The Lord Keeper signified, That the last Night he received a Letter from the said Earl of Bristoll, with a Request to acquaint the King with the Contents thereof; and that even now he had received a Petition from the said Earl likewise, with a Copy of that Letter thereunto annexed; which Petition he re-delivered to the Earl's Solicitor, for that he had not as yet acquainted the King with the Contents of the said Letter. And thereupon, the said Petition not being in the House, it was Ordered, That the said Petition should be exhibited to the Lords Committees for Petitions, who are to meet thereon To-morrow, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Tales de Cumstantibus.

The Lords Committees on the Bill for Tales de Circumstantibus at Assizes, are to meet thereon on Thursday next, at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber.

Adjourn.
