2^a, An Act for Explanation of a former Act, made in the Three and Thirtieth Year of the late Queen, of Famour Memory, Elizabeth, intituled, An Act for Assurance of the yearly Rent of Fourscore two Pounds and Ten Shillings, to the Bishop of Coventry and Lich. and his Successors for ever, out of certain Manors, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, thereby assured to Edward Fisher, Esquire, and his Heirs.

3^a, An Act to prevent the destroying and murdering of Bastard Children.

4^a, An Act for Explanation of the Statutes, made in the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Years of King Edward the Sixth, concerning the Traders of Butter and Cheese.

5^a, An Act, That the County Palatine of Durham shall have Knights, Citizens, and Burgesses, to serve in the Commons House of Parliament.

And the Commons do humbly desire to know what Time their Lordships will be pleased to appoint for the Conference touching the Bill of Monopolies.

Bishop of Norwich accused by the Commons.

They do also desire their Lordships for a Conference touching some Accusations against the Lord Bishop of Norwich (unto which his Lordship hath not yet been heard), humbly leaving the Time and Place unto their Lordships.

Concealments.

And they do once more recommend unto their Lordships Consideration that general Peace-maker of England, the Bill of Concealments.

Monopolies.

The Lords have appointed a Conference touching Monopolies this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock, in the Painted Chamber.

Bishop of Norwich's Accusation.

They have not yet resolved of a Time for the Conference touching the Accusations of the Lord Bishop of Norwich, for that divers of the Lords are now absent; but, so soon as they can conveniently appoint a Time for the same, their Lordships will send unto them by Messengers of their own.

Concealments.

As touching the Bill of Concealments, their Lordships have taken the same into their serious Consideration; and it is only deferred for that all the King's Counsel (who are appointed to attend the same) are now otherwise employed; but their Lordships do promise all possible Expedition therein.

Relief of Creditors against those who die in Execution.

Lowe to sell Lands.

These two latter Bills their Lordships have returned, with Amendments and Provisos annexed.

Bishop of Landaffe versus Matthew and Matthew.

Upon the Reading of the Bishop of Landaffes Petition, touching the Lordship of Landaffe, which his Lordship affirms to belong of Right unto his Bishoprick, and whereunto William Mathewe and George Mathewe do both pretend a Right, and have exhibited their Petition unto this House for the same, claiming by a Lease, and Fee Farm from the Bishoprick; it is Ordered, That the said William and George Mathewe, and every of them, shall bring in their Deeds of such Lease and Fee Farm, to the Lords Committees for Petitions, to be perused by them.
