Answer about the Members of the House of Commons testifying upon Oath.
That Yesterday they received a Message from the Lords, That some principal Persons of their House were desired to testify, upon their Oath, their Knowledges touching the Grievances complained of, against that wretched Man Sir Gyles Mompesson, and others. That the Parties so required did tender themselves to be sworn; and therefore that House will not be scrupulous herein, as the Lords may perceive their Concurrence, and Readiness to expedite that Business.
Answered,
That the Lords do take in good and acceptable Part the Readiness of that House to expedite this Business.

Ordered, That the Earl of March's Bill shall be this Day read the Third Time, notwithstanding the former Order, made die Jovis, 15 Martii.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act to enable Edmund Clough, Esquire, and other Bargainees in Trust, to convey the Manor of Temple Newsham, and other Lands and Tenements, in the County of Yorke, to Esme Stuart, Lord Aubigny Earl of March, and the Lady Catherine his Wife, or such other as they shall nominate and appoint. And was put to the Question, and assented unto.

Subsidy by the Clergy.
The Instrument of the Grant of Three entire Subsidies by the Clergy of the Province of Cant. presented to the House, by the Lord Bishop of Peterburgh, as being the ancient Bishop of that Province, in the Absence of the Archbishop of Canterburie; which was delivered to Mr. Attorney General, to draw an Act for the Confirmation of the same, to be annexed according to the ancient and usual Form.
