With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for reducing the Laws relating to Rogues, Vagabonds, Sturdy Beggars, and Vagrants, into One Act of Parliament; and for the more effectual punishing such Rogues, Vagabonds, Sturdy Beggars, and Vagrants, and sending them whither they ought to be sent;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to discharge and acquit the Commissioners of Equivalent for the Sum of Three Hundred Eighty-one Thousand Five Hundred and Nine Pounds, Fifteen Shillings, Ten Pence Half-penny, by them duly issued out of the Sum of Three Hundred Ninety-eight Thousand Eighty-five Pounds, Ten Shillings, which they received;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Papers concerning Trade with Spain, from Commissioners for Trade, delivered.

The Lord Guilford, from the Commissioners for Trade and Plantations, presented to the House, pursuant to their Lordships Order of Yesterday, several Papers; the Titles whereof were read, as follows:

"1713. Minutes of the Commissioners for Trade and Plantations, relating to the British Trade in Spain, from the 14th of October 1713.

"Nov. 13th. Copy of a Letter from the Lord Viscount Bolingbroke, of the 12th November 1713, to the Commissioners for Trade; enclosing the Extract of One from Mr. Herne, Consul at Alicant, complaining of the Discouragements given there to the British Woollen and Tobacco Trade. 1
"Copy of a Letter to the Lord Viscount Bolingbroke, in Answer to his of Yesterday's Date; enclosing the Extract of One from Mr. Herne; Consul at Alicant, about Discouragements given there to our Woollen and Tobacco Trade, &c. From the Commissioners for Trade. 2

Sir R. Home versus Sir Patrick Home:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Sir Robert Home Baronet, from Two Decrees, or Interlocutors, of the Lords of Council and Session in Scotland, of the 7th and 16th Days of July 1713, made on the Behalf of Sir Patrick Home; praying, "That the said Sir Patrick, who hath enjoyed the Benefit of the Appellant's Real Estate, may be decreed effectually to come to an immediate Accompt and Reckoning with the Petitioner; and that the said Decrees, or Interlocutors, may be reversed:" As also upon the Answer of the said Sir Patrick put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement reversed, with Directions.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Interlocutor of the 16th of July 1713 be reversed; and that the Receipt of George Home of Kaimes, of the Contents of the Disposition made by Sir John Home to Sir Alexander, which were disposed of by Sir Alex'r, with the Respondent's Consent, to the said George Home, be taken to be the Receipt of the Respondent; and that the Respondent do therefore accompt for the Contents of the Disposition made by the said Sir John Home to the said Sir Alexand'r, which were disposed of by the said Sir Alexand'r, with the Respondent's Consent, to the said George Home: And it is further Ordered, That the Lords of Session do appoint a Receiver of the Profits of the Trust Estate in Question, until such Time as the Accompt shall be taken in Pursuance of this Order, and the former Order of this House of the 27th of May 1712; and do likewise order, that the Tenants of the Trust Estate do pay the Rents now in Arrear, and the Rents which shall grow due for the future, to such Receiver; and that such Arrears of Rent, and growing Rents, as shall be paid to such Receiver, be duly accompted for, and placed forth at Interest, with Approbation of the Lords of Session, as soon as conveniently may be, for the Benefit of such of the said Parties as shall appear to be entitled thereunto upon the Event of the said Accompt.

Upon reading the Petition of the Lord Mayor, Aldermen, and Common Council, of the City of London; praying to be heard, by their Counsel, against the Bill for Relief of insolvent Debtors, before the same doth pass:

It is Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Tuesday next; and that the Petitioners may be heard, by their Counsel, before the Second Reading thereof; as may Counsel be heard for the Bill at the same Time; and that the Judges do attend.

Ordered, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for relieving William Paterson Esquire, out of the Equivalent-money, for what is due to him," be read a Second Time on Saturday next; and that Counsel may be heard for and against the same, before the Second Reading thereof.
