Lords take the Oaths.
This Day William Lord Viscount Kilsyth and John Lord Balmerino took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.
Also Thomas Lord Mansel took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration; his Lordship having first delivered a Certificate of his receiving the Sacrament, to the Truth whereof Witnesses were sworn and examined.
Morphew and Barber's Servants examined:
Elizabeth Fells, Servant to John Morphew, attending (according to Order) was called in, and examined upon Oath, touching the Pamphlet, intituled, "The Publick Spirit of the Whigs, &c.;" as were also Richard Winter, William Scot, George Cotton, Edward Foulkes, John Wright, Freeman Collins, and John Plowright, Servants to John Barber, severally examined upon Oath, at the Bar, in relation to the said Pamphlet.
Lamborn to attend.
Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Robert Lamborn, a Compositor, do attend this House on Tuesday next, at Twelve a Clock.
Adjourn.
