A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Conyers and others:
With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to appoint Commissioners, to examine the Value of all Lands, and other Interests, granted by the Crown, since the Thirteenth Day of February One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-eight; and upon what Considerations such Grants were made;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Grants since the Revolution, for examining, Bill.
Ordered, That the said Bill be read the First Time on Saturday next, at One a Clock; and all the Lords summoned.
Message from H. C. to return Griffin's Bill.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Justinian Isham and others:
To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the enabling James Griffin Esquire, and Edward Griffin Son and Heir Apparent of the said James Griffin, to raise Money, to pay the Debts of the said James; and to make a Settlement, for the Benefit of themselves and their Family;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to their Lordships Amendments made thereto.
Sheriffs Accompts, Bill.
Ordered, That the Lords Committees to whom was referred the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more easy passing Sheriffs Accompts," be revived; and meet on Saturday next, at Eleven a Clock; and that the Barons of Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer do then attend their Lordships.

After reading the Report of the Judges, to whom was referred the Petition of Charles May Esquire; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the Purposes therein mentioned:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the said Petition.
Wich versus Sir J. Packington:
After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Jermin Wich Esquire, Son, Heir, and Executor, of Sir Cyril Wich Knight, deceased, who was Administrator to Dame Susan his Wife, who was Relict and Executrix of Sir Herbert Perrot deceased, from a Decree made the One and Twentieth Day of June One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight, in Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer, in a Cause there depending, wherein the Appellant was Defendant, and Sir John Pakington and his Lady Complainants; and of a subsequent Decree, and several Orders, made in the said Cause, on the Behalf of the said Complainants; praying, "That the said Decrees and Orders may be reversed:" As also upon the Answer of Sir John Pakington and his Wife put in to the said Appeal; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:
Judgement affirmed.
It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Jermin Wich shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decrees and Orders therein complained of shall be, and are hereby, affirmed.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Sale of some Part of the Real Estate of Baptist May Esquire, deceased, for Payment of his Debts; and for other Purposes therein mentioned."
