The Lord Keeper acquainted the House, "That Her Majesty had sent a Commission for the further proroguing of the Parliament."
The House was adjourned during Pleasure.
The House was resumed.
Then the Lords Commissioners, being seated on a Form, placed between the Throne and the Woolsack (on which sat the Lord Keeper, with the Lord Treasurer and Lord Steward on his Right Hand, and the Lord President on his Left); commanded the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod to let the Commons know, "That the Commissioners desire them to come, "and hear the Commission read."

"By Virtue of Her Majesty's Commission now read, and to us (among other Lords) directed, we do, in Her Majesty's Name, declare this Parliament to be prorogued to Tuesday the Ninth Day of October next: And this Parliament is accordingly prorogued to Tuesday the Ninth Day of October next."
