Relief of Non-commission Officers and Soldiers, &c. Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Relief of the Non-commission Officers and Soldiers of the respective Companies of the Three Regiments of Colonel Thomas Handasyde, Colonel John Livesay, and Lieutenant General Erle, and the Four Independent Companies at New York in America."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Monday next, at Twelve a Clock.

Hampden versus Hampden:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Edmund Hampden, Eldest Son and Heir of Edmund Hampden, late of Great Missendon, in the County of Bucks, Esquire, deceased, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Eighth Day of December last, for the affirming of a Decree of the Master of the Rolls, of the Twelfth of December One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seven, on the Behalf of Richard Hampden; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree: As also upon the Answer of Richard Hampden put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Edmund Hampden shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Exportation of Corn to be considered.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, on Monday next, this House shall take into Consideration the Subject-matter of transporting Corn at this Juncture.

Frauds relating to Stamp Duties, &c. to prevent, Bill.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That on Wednesday next, at Twelve a Clock, this House shall be put into a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for redressing and preventing several Frauds and Practices relating to Her Majesty's Duties upon Stamped Vellum, Parchment, and Paper; and regulating the Clerks and Attornies of the Courts of Queen's Bench and Common Pleas at Westminster."
