Lords take the Oaths.

This Day Charles Earl of Manchester and Robert Lord Ferrers took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Smith versus Doleman.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Richard Smith Esquire, from Five several Orders made in the Court of Chancery, the Five and Twentieth Day of April and the Twelfth Day of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seven, and the First Day of May, the Nineteenth of July, and the Thirteenth of October, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight, and several Reports made pursuant thereto, in a Cause there lately depending, between the said Richard Smith Plaintiff, and Sir Thomas Doleman Defendant; and praying the Reversal of the said Orders and Reports; and that Sir Thomas Doleman may answer to the said Appeal:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Sir Thomas Doleman may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Tuesday the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant December, at Eleven a Clock.

Bumsted discharged.

This Day Richard Bumsted was brought to the Bar of this House, for arresting Charles Polton, Servant to his Grace the Duke of Bedford, a Peer of this Realm, in the Time of Privilege of Parliament; and being reprimanded for his Offence, and begging Pardon:

It was Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Richard Bumsted shall be, and he is hereby, discharged, paying his Fees; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, and every of them.

Rosset & al. Naturalization.

Upon reading the Petition of Lewis de Rosset, Peter Brozet, and others; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for their Naturalization:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of their Petition.
