Increase of Seamen, and manning the Fleet, Bill.
The Lord Halifax (pursuant to Order) reported from the Committee of the whole House, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Encouragement and Increase of Seamen, and better manning Her Majesty's Fleet," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.
Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.
E. of Exeter's Bill.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for settling the Estate of John now Earl of Exeter, pursuant to Agreements made on the Marriage of the same Earl with Elizabeth Countess of Exeter his now Wife, subject to such Alterations as are mentioned herein."
Bath Highways, &c. Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for repairing, amending, and enlarging, the Highways between the Top of Kingsdown Hill and the City of Bath, and also several other Highways leading to and through the said City; and for cleansing, paving, and lightening the Streets, and regulating the Chairmen there."
Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Monday next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Lord Chancellor's Room near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
